They’ve got Dimarco and Augusto so I don’t know why they’d want him unless they saw him as a midfielder. That wouldn’t surprise me given Inzaghi has played Dimarco in midfield recently.

I mean since Mikel isn’t using him anymore I guess it makes sense to cash in.
Shame because he’s still useful, especially in a team lacking incisiveness. Should’ve given him some games in midfield.

Tbh if we are going to fund some moves for players this January, we may need to try to move the likes of Zinny and Kiwior on. Both should command decent fees.

How so? Neither has been a nailed on starter for us for about 18 months now.
The season they were is still viewed very fondly by fans for the football we played.

He came in, immediately elevated us, was replaced by better players and is now out of the door. How did he held us back?
he was ok to begin with but his high wages (along with Gabb J) along with injuries and not being available. He had some good performances in him but a lot of them were sub par. Him and Jesus should have been shipped out, they have long since been surpassed by other players.
