Odsonne Édouard

Yup…as a left winger, so this other chap can play up front… :unamused:

Arsenal appear to have lost the race to sign Odsonne Édouard from Celtic. The coveted 23-year-old, who has averaged more than a goal per game for France Under-21, is understood to prefer a reunion at at Leicester City with Brendan Rodgers, who signed him for Celtic from Paris Saint-Germain for a club-record fee of over £8million in 2018.

Good signing for City, that

If he does go to Leicester, not only will they have had a very good transfer window, they will have got their business done quickly and efficiently.

I don’t know who does their transfer dealings but, whoever he is, we could do with him here.

Edouard will struggle down here. He’s made the right move having played under Rodgers before. Wouldn’t have worked here though.
Hasn’t got enough goals in him I feel for a big impact in the Prem.

Not really had a good season tbh. Him and Ntcham especially.

To be fair working under Lennon has to be seen as a pretty big handicap.

Controversial opinion that, always saw it as more of a collaboration myself :eyes:

Prefer them as a band.

They’re better when they come together

What happened to this transfer?

Which transfer? I know Leicester were linked but they signed Patson Daka instead.

Clearly not trying in Celtic in this week’s 2 games.
Catching plenty of abuse on websites.
He was really poor last season too. Definitely one too avoid.

interested in seeing him in the prem, think he will flop though

Odsonne Edouard becomes the fastest goalscorer ever to score a goal on his PL debut. 2 goals against Spurs and looks very decent. Think we may have missed an opportunity here.
