Forest over-achieved massively getting promoted last season. They had a mid-table championship squad at best when they got promoted, I can wager that 13/14 players out of them 38 were from their championship side last season.

It’s obvious what they’re doing, they’re building a squad strong enough to maintain a place in the Prem for the foreseeable future, them numbers will come down next transfer window.

As for Andre Ayew, have you seen their striking options? They need as many forwards as they can get lol

I took Ayew into account, it is 37 so with Ayew they become 38.

Forest needed the players, personally would’ve liked to see them try pry away some of the best championship players to future proof the squad a little bit. Or a more focused strategy. They have like 4 goalkeepers and like 5 forwards lol.

If it works though fair play (They concede a shit ton though). Can’t say they didn’t try.
