Noni Madueke (20)

I’ve followed Madueke since his early PSV days and always rated him highly. He really stood out in the Eredivisie (Mickey Mouse league, I know), but the talent was obvious.

Chelsea felt like the wrong move for him, as it has been for so many others. Just never looked like a good fit.

It’s definitely an underwhelming signing on paper, but I’m hopeful he can fulfil his potential here—playing in a better team, with more quality around him and a proper tactical setup.

Looking forward to seeing him get some minutes in pre-season.

Will this even happen given he’s yet to have a holiday?

Nice to hear something positive at least :+1:

I’m looking at those home fixtures in August maybe?

How come Arsenal have been so quick to negotiate this one though?

Especially when he is missing most of pre-season.

I think it’s just to piss everyone off

Berta has had a wobble and thought Chelsea said the price was 52M Euros, not pound sterling.

The best case scenario is someone that is mostly good but sometimes shit is not ideal for £50m

@SuperArsenal1886 has been out early this morning by the looks of it

Judging by all the abuse his getting I’m sure it hasn’t escaped his attention, you’ve got to give the guy credit for his thick skin for wanting to still sign for Arsenal.

Just shows how these moronic Arsenal fans are in no position to judge the behavior of other rival fans.

lol forgot about cunha, would rather have him for 10m more by far.

We paid what they wanted and no other club was interested but it also helps that because we buy so many Chelsea rejects, our negotiation team could do these transfers blindfolded.

Another wrinkle is having so many left footers in the attack and adding another, balance has been an issue and remains the case

How many of the signings this summer are ceiling raisers also?

I just don’t get it.

20 Premier League goals for Brentford?

He should be head and shoulders above anyone on that list (I know they’re not all wingers or forwards). Why shouldn’t Brentford demand 80m?

It’s surprising there aren’t many bigger clubs after Mbuemo and Wissa.
They scored almost forty goals between them last season and plenty of assists at a mid table club.

Found a real reason for a man to cry @Cristo (signing a £28m player for £52m)
