Madueke and Eze are smart signings. We need more directness in the attack and you don’t get much more direct than Madueke. We need a creative spark and Eze is this. We had better get the striker that the team so desperately needs though.

We have Nwaneri why do we need this guy who clearly isn’t seen as vital for Chelsea and is a lesser talent also.
Very one footed, backup at best, poor finisher and has consistency and worth ethic issues as noted by his own coach
No idea why some are so desperate they’ll take mediocre just because

For me he’s about the level of Martinelli, with maybe being in better form in the last season.
What makes it worse he’s a RW dominantly ffs… Why are we fucking wasting serious money on a fucking RW while Martinelli is still our best LW???

I assume Arteta believes he’ll turn Madueke into a Raphinha-esque LW, just as he did with Havertz as our left 8…

He’s a good squad option. We need more depth and he is better than what we have.
He’s not the main buy but of course people will act like he is and have a meltdown

Nwaneri isn’t going to stretch defences like Madueke can. I agree though, Nwaneri needs to be involved next season. Maybe he gets opportunities in the middle?
Odegaard, Eze and Nwaneri as attacking midfielders and Saka, Martinelli, Jesus, Trossard, Eze, Madueke and Nwaneri as wide options means we’d be pretty stacked. Trossard probably gets sold and Dowman develops.
Madueke definitely wouldn’t be on any wish list but he’s a very good option on both wings off the bench or to give Saka a rest.
How he’s not a main buy when he’ll surely cost at least 50m?
People living in a fairy tale and acting as if we have an unlimited budged ffs.
We aren’t buying 2 new forwards after Madueke ffs.

I respect the stance - it is very clear that you aren’t a fan! Whilst I won’t be getting Madueke on the back of a shirt, think he’s a good player. His end product needs improving however.
I don’t believe the rumours but there are talks that Nwaneri contract talks have stalled. How do we know that he doesn’t believe that he’s better than back up to Saka or Odegaard? Hope this isn’t true and again, I agree. Nwaneri is a real talent.
