What’s amazing in these two years… I just fucking can’t belelieve we’re making EXACTLY the transfers we need.
Torreira, a young, technical, DM… we got a decent, young-ish goallie… guendouzi also a very good trnasfer, possibly great…
Saliba, a CB with WC potential… a young left back… and now a young, top class winger… even ceballos is avery smart move on these cirmustances.
I knew we had the money. Simple economics. You always have to take a broader picture… no matter we didn’t make money with playes sold… a club with such a massive financial platform, one of the biggest clubs in the PREMIER LEAGUE, with all the sponsor and media rights money that got bigger in last yermars… can easily go in minus for a few years, if you expect the players you got will pay off over the years… and players we’re buying atm will/should pay off, considering their potential, age, quality…

That’s true but it was meant to be coming from Lille, and they acted weirdly bold that their requirements had been met. I know sources in sport’s journalism aren’t really a thing but you’d have thought someone would have checked the authenticity of it coming from Lille directly.
