I still don’t understand these players that can see they’re in demand and worth a high price (I guess £72m is probably still a top 10 transfer) and then only want like £80k a week.

Sounds like the agent(s) in his entourage have a big influence in his decision, they want as big a pay day as him.

Quite a lot of Italian journalists are reporting this and that makes me sceptical. My brain is telling me that Pepe’s agents want to eek more money out of Napoli.
