Nico Williams

About £150k a week and neither can match? I smell bullshit

You can tell they’re running out of material.

Won’t stop them though.

The only thing that can stop this from happening is Barca themselves now.

Nico’s camp approached Barca and he is willing to lower his demands for them. Yamal is publicly teasing it happening.

Even if Barca take their time, kid will probably wait for them.

There’s a 50% chance he’ll come here and a 50% chance he won’t. That’s 1/2 chance. Not worried.

There’s a bit more choice on the wings so I’m happy to see what transpires. Rodrygo first choice though.

Hopefully they wrap this shit up quickly so those clickbait Spanish outlets stop linking us to him.

We need to move on Rodrygo!

But can they match our wage offer?

(sport are usually VERY reliable when it comes to Barca news)

(except when they aren’t :pires: )

That’s Arsenal and Chelsea deciding not to get into a bidding war over Nico’s huge wage demands because they don’t think he’s worth £300-400 per week.

Rightly so. If Nico’s camp are being greedy, it’s time to move on to our next target.

So now we spend 6 weeks sitting by the phone waiting for a call from Rodygo which never happens.

How the fuck are Barcelona able to afford him, they are always in financial troubles yet look favourites to land Nico. Huge wage demands + the 60m release clause needs to be paid in full.

Time to accept we’ll be going into the season with Martinelli and Trossard

Well let’s see who we get instead.

Deadline day Leroy Sane as Bayern get Williams maybe?

Sane has signed for Gala, so we won’t end up saddled with him

Oh yeah, my mistake.

It’s gonna be Rodrygo or bust for the left forward.
At this point, if we fail to land Rodrygo I think it’s more likely we sign a right winger as cover for Saka rather than a left forward.

Not to scare the crowd but what are the chances our wide player signing…is actually Garnacho?
