That’s what I meant when I spoke about doing a deal in January if it made sense. If we can actually sign Williams in January and the club did actually court him in the summer then it only makes sense to just tie the deal up in January.

It would be negligent of us to ignore this deal if it can be done now all for the idea that it would he better to try and do business in the summer.
