Yes. Don’t care.
We need a big transfer, a big player, this way or another.
You can’t make an omelette withouth breaking some eggs.

He’s the guy Arteta wants. Throw the kitchen sink at him and make sure it’s loaded with cash
We’ll worry about the money if he’s shit
Not our money so we shouldn’t care
Like Williams but if we were to sign him Arteta needs to vastly improve our attacking system, simply signing a few guys won’t produce the results some may think.
Saka is on 4 non-penalty goals, it’s just not a good enough platform.
Not expecting loads of goals from Williams if he signs, I’m expecting a LW who actually takes on the full back and sets up Havertz, Jesus or Odegaard.
His numbers this season don’t look great but we have the system already to make more of a better LW.
OK, let’s just keep playing Trossard and Martinelli on the left and keep improving the system
Don’t care. We need that guy with our system being good or bad.
I’ve been saying too we have a ton of systematic problems all time, but a guy of that profile actually solves some of those system issues.
Not having a proper complete counter balance to Saka on the other flank IS ONE OF OUR SYSTEM ISSUES.
No player alone will solve all our issues but Nico would definitely be a step in the positive direction.
Chill out man, I know full well what our issues are lol
Williams raises the floor to a degree but a much improved and varied attacking system is what will truly unlock and stop bottlenecking our attacking play and players
Williams isn’t a natural hitter and will need to be put in a position to flourish as a winger that we would want him to be - talking about production here
In Liverpool’s team right now he would look different to what he’d look like here unless we evolve beyond just throwing new guys in.
Barca will give it to him. Then not be able to register him.
I reckon this guy hasn’t got a clue. A quick google search says Williams is on £160-170k a week I’m not buying that he’s effectively asking to nearly double his wages.
Do “players” really ask for money nowadays? It’s all down to the agents isn’t it?
Absolutely no substance to this at all so far.
the only thing i dont like about this is i have a horrible feeling after a year or two (just as he is really settling down and showing how good he can be) his head gets turned by barca. Because they dont have any money the tapping up will ensue with lowball offers whilst his form tanks and ‘he only wants barca’
“He wants £300k”.
We can go there if it’s a structured deal. For example, a basic of £200k and if he hits all his targets he’ll earn up to £300k.
Do I think he deserves similar money to Saka? Yes.
Who did tell him that?
That’s absolute bullshit.
All the talk abut his wage demands (since we started getting linked to him) is bullshit.
Nico is going around and telling random people how much he wants, K sure
His wages at Athletic were a bit inflated to start with, no way he could have realistically ask for that given his actual level of performances in these last years, but obviously the club took a big effort to keep him there given his talent and potential.
He’ll probably demand some raise (the agents play a part too) but I’m sure he’s aware his still not at that stage to ask for almost double of what he has.
Btw just looking at those La Liga salaries, I just can’t believe Ansu Fati is on €270k per week
Is this real world
His agent deserves some award.
200k per week
deferred 50k for league title as bonus
another 50k for CL final/win
so £200k?
This is how I cheat in EA Sports FC.
Average salary (200k is not average in reality), super high bonus but difficult to achieve.
It’s a shame that doesn’t work in Football Manager. I’ve tried it so many times convinced I can game it.
Try signing old players on a small wage but huge appearance fee and they run a mile. Maybe FM is realistic after all.
Get Williams and Isaak or Gykores and we can win the title.
Without two decent attacking signings we’re going to continue the way we are, which isn’t good enough.
