Philly D gave up a score on every Chiefs possession in the second half. That’s why they lost.
There were plenty of shitty calls in that game. Mostly due to the rules, and the interpretation of them.
I thought Goddert’s was a catch on that 3rd and long. He had control with the right against the helmet all the way. You see one handed helmet catches every once in a while. The left hand off the ball was a distraction.
Philly guy got popped at the moment the ball was in his hands. Great timing by the defender, yet it’s ruled incomplete. Meanwhile, on other plays, you see balls skidding off the turf and into the receiver’s hands, yet ruled a catch. It’s bollocks.

I don’t watch much football but that should have been a no call. It’s an unwritten rule that you referee the game a little differently come the crunch.
Reminds me of this from a few years ago. Late game situation. Pass is going out of pound but the ref calls a foul for holding and gifts the game to the Timberwolves (2:18).

Yeah, out of his depth as a HC, but probably a good QB coach. Seems likeable and obviously did his best with the Bears. Can’t hate on him. Happy he gets a ring.
Also, changed my opinion on that penalty. Reckon it was fair, especially with the defender admitting it was a hold.

This is so frustrating. The Ravens are about to let their best ever quarterback walk away because the Browns are fucking idiots and gave a sex criminal a fully guaranteed contract last year.

Interesting situation for sure.
I think it may be best for both parties to seek a trade at this point. Bisciotti simply isn’t going to pay him a contract with a high % of guaranteed money. I don’t think the Ravens should either tbh, he’s not been healthy over the last two years and you can’t put pieces around him.
It’s just a simple reality Lamar will get a fully guaranteed deal from some desperate team and Ravens can find an alternative solution at QB with 3 first round picks and other assets.
QB market is crazy atm, Likes of Burrow, Hurts and Herbert are waiting to see who signs first and for what amount
