Bring him to the carpet!!! Such a brilliant football, but it looks like he’s the next Brazilian genius who peaked early and faded in his thirties.
I’ve seen guys that work in Tesco that play in the cages of Powerleague in Muswell Hill have better careers than Neymar.

Looking back at his schedule, it seems like the injury he got while playing against Lille started this series of injuries.
Stat wise he was balling it in 22-23 season. He played till Feb but still scored 18 goals & assisted 17. Even against Lille where he got his ankle injury, He scored and assisted.
Shame that an injury cut short his career.

I do feel bad for him personally. This could turn out into a disastrous end to his career if he gets Santos relegated and misses out on the World Cup.

It’s an odd one, not that I watch the league over there but it sounds like Neymar picked up form recently and was on shortlist to be picked up.
Carlo is not one to be a snob on older players or players from lesser leagues either. Plenty of 30+ players in there and you can see players from Saudi, Brazil and even Russia selected too.

Think as soon as he calls up Neymar that immediately shifts to Neymar’s team.
When all is said and done since the last World Cup he’s played something like 50 or 60 games of football and suffered more serious injuries. I think it was always fanciful that he’d have a chance of making it
