Myles Lewis-Skelly (49)

Seems to be part of the first team squad, included in the squad photo as well so should be having his own topic.

I would be expecting him to play tomorrow against Bolton, after his debut last Sunday against City.

Is there any information about why he got a yellow card in that game?

On the Arsecast James said apparently it’s because he told Raya to pretend he’s injured :joy:

What position/role does he actually play?

He looked pretty comfortable in his cameo tbh hopefully he gets some good game time against Bolton.

Looked real good yesterday.

I like the conviction and power he uses when striking the ball. Already better than Reiss Nelson.

Myles better, I think.

This is a normal comment about an academy player taking his first steps in first team football player.

Whereas

“He’s a bull. So confident. Mature beyond his years” is some bizarre hyperbole that leaves me feeling mildly unsettled.

Any news on how significant an injury he sustained?

Arteta mentioned in passing today in the press conference that it was just cramp, not an injury, and that he is fine. Good stuff.
