Mykhailo Mudryk

I really hope he flops.

I wouldn’t say Trossard flourished today @Bl1nk

No one did first half tbf Oz. Saka and maybe White?

I like Trossard when he gets the ball, though. There’s an unpredictability that the likes of Arshavin (and maybe Kanchelskis) used to have

Yeah Saka was by far and away the best first half, several players lifted in the 2nd half but you’re right most had colours lowered in the first half.

You can see Mudryk desperate to make an impact, but I feel like his teammates are losing faith in him. 2 more games until 007.

A rare Ainsley Maitland Niles error but he make ammends by chasing back to make the tackle on Mudryk. (0:28)

Still hope we can nick him off them at some point

Let his value drop down to like 20mil then put in a bid.

Could even do a swap deal involving Nelson at that point

Why would we want a downgrade? :man_shrugging:t3:

I am sure he is a good player but joining Chelsea was always going to be detrimental to his career when that club is in quicksand.

It was Shakhtar’s choice I guess to get the most for him. He probably would have liked to come to us instead.

C’est la vie :man_shrugging:t4:

He stays at Chelsea he’s gonna turn into Gervinho

Say he becomes available for a cut price in the summer, do you think we’ll be interested?

After signing such a long contract he probably hates his agent even more.

It would be too embarrassing for Chelsea so they would keep him on the bench rather than sell to us.

We shouldn’t be for me. He made his choice, we move on. Also if he’s available it’s because he’s stunk it up. No thanks.

I also think the club would be very apprehensive about dealing with all that again. We saw it with Vlahovic and Aouar too. The club did quite a lot of groundwork to make this deal happen and according to the reports Chelsea got him onboard almost instantly.

At the end of the day players have a massive say. He was presented a gigantic opportunity to join us when we were flying and he threw it in the trash.

He won’t though he’s on a 100 year contract and although we know Chelsea are stupid they’re not that stupid

There is a good player there as you can see what he is trying to do. But he is not in the right environment to develop as he is relying on his natural talent with no direction

He’s clearly a good player but going from a farmers league with a massive price tag and then playing alongside established and successful PL players has put him under more pressure than he’s used to.
He’s not a big fish in a small pond anymore and is playing against top quality opposition.

He might have fitted in better In a more attacking team but Potter doesn’t seem the right manager and probably didn’t have much say about signing him.

Yep yep.

Thing is he ain’t gonna get the one on one development that Arteta and his team would have given him so at Chelshit he won’t necessarily develop as much as he possibly could have, had he ended up here with us ?!
