Mykhailo Mudryk

Why pick Ziyech then?

Why start a player who was minutes away from leaving the club a couple of days ago…

no idea but it is strange

Your basis for this is on what though. What’s he proved in previous transfer windows for your take?
Had Maupay and Welbz as strikers at Brighton. Guy doesn’t seem too ever address this situation.

My thought process is based on how well he did with some pretty average players with a small transfer budget. I rate him as a manager who’ll get teams a top half finish on a budget, so I’d back him if he was able to run a bigger club with a bigger budget.

But, my take could be a load of bollocks, I’m not a Potter spotter. I can see him at Spurs one day, funnily enough.

Seeming how hard it is to find a proven and reliable striker for many top teams, it’s even harder for those in the mid and bottom half.

Potter made a mistake joining Chelsea imo, but I don’t blame him. Who would turn down that kind of salary? Besides, he’s a young manager and will be around for many years.
But Chelsea made a mistake hiring him too. Unless they allow him to build his own team. Potter is similar to Arteta in that way, he wants the right player for the right position and needs a say in every transfer. I doubt Boehly understands that and will go over Potters head with big profile transfers instead.

Brother was trying to dribble past Ainsley when he came on. Lad is lost. Might as well try to dribble through a wall.

On other occasions he was knocking the ball in space when there wasn’t any. What a horrendous career move for him.

Knowing Chelsea they’ll replace Mudryk in the summer. Neymar’s available, no?

Hall of shame cameo. Will have to watch this when someone uploads the game because goddamn.

18 touches and he lost the ball 9 times. How? :sob:

Should have joined us. But oh well.

Chelsea will come good eventually, and maybe Mudryk will too, but he could have done so much better with us.

He’ll go back to Shaktar on loan. Mad business by the Ukranian club :joy:

Career development = -1

Long term I think he’ll be fine but yeah it’s looking like a bumpy ass start to his career in the PL

Knowing how Chelsea chop and change players and managers you never know. Last players who had a decent overall career there were Hazard and maybe Rudigar given they both made a step up to Real. Kante also made a career there and will go down as a legend for them.

Their other signings have either turned into deadwood they can’t get rid of or ended up having mediocre stints elsewhere (Lukaku, Werner).
