Mykhailo Mudryk

I mean he probably is very good but Chelsea won’t around for him to develop. If he doesn’t start showing something before the summer, Boehly will bring in a shiny new toy and leave MudPrick as a Europa option. That’s if they even make the Europa spots this season.

Also sends a message to the “next” Mudryk… choose wisely.

Ah who still gives a shit at this stage anyway

I can’t get my head around so publicly valuing players so highly when it comes to fee (like top 20 all time fees and club record fees) but then when it comes to the salary saying we only think you’re worth this much. Not just in this case but generally.

I know you’re effectively negotiating with 2 different entities and they have different motives and demands and there’s wage structures to consider, but always seemed weird to me.

Because of Ozil and Aubameyang, the club probably feel that paying massive wages doesn’t guarantee success, especially to a player from a far inferior league.

If he came here and it didn’t work out, then our top players would see what he’s earning and ask for at least the same, so him not signing is fine as long as we get an equivalent alternative instead.

We can’t compete with Man U, Man City or Chelsea financially but compared to other rival clubs, we have become a lot more attractive than we’ve been, which makes it easier to get top level players.

we got multiple FA Cups with Ozil and Auba… I do not know how we drew the line of being successful.

Ozil and Auba did not contribute much in their final years, but we also had so many holes and weaknesses on other positions and never was a team to challenge the title.

We may say we should have cut ties with them earlier, but we can also say we should invest more, add one/two top players while they were in prime.

I agree, they were both great players for us when they first came here but it was after the club made them our highest paid players they no longer gave anything back.

Lets be real, he has looked depressed big time ever since that move. You never ever see him smile, which is rare for a young guy with whole world in front of him. Will end up at Shaktar in 2 years time.

I would like to say at our gaff…but sod that after all that twerking he didnt have the guts to force the move to us and left us high and dry to go to chavski for a big payday, he can get stuffed.

God knows if someone pointed a gun on his head and forced him to choose Chelsea, especially when people said there are money involved for Ukrainian war.
Really, nobody knows, but his body language really tells he is not happy.

Potter clearly doesn’t think Mudryk is ready for Chelsea right now. Those exciting few minutes on his debut feel like a long time ago.

Mudryk probably doesn’t think Potter is read for Chelsea.

no worries he can transfer outta there for £65m and £15m to the Ukraine.

That’s 80m bud :joy: fat chance.

They’ll get 15m and a bus pass and like it.

I’ve just watched some clips of his games with Chelsea…
I actually like how he looks the pitch and what he tries and I think he would look much in our system that makes a lot of space for our wingers and gives them a ton of opportunities to take on players compared to that Chelsea mess.

What’s the main problem there… I think it’s a ridiculous decision to keep him on the bench atm considering their season is ruined anyway.

They should simply focus on the future and give the opportunity to young players like him, to get some experience, to gel with the team… So they could properly rely on them as starters next year and going forward. I can’t understand why they’re (Potter) playing Zyech as a starter recently and they wanted to sell him a month ago, and he’s surely gone in the summer. A Chelsea fan mentioned that too (not in the most polite manner) yesterday in some podcast.

It seems there’s just too much pressure to fix things quickly and Potter is making the wrong decisions, including Mudryk.

It’s kinda ironic considering they SUPPOSEDLY made a presentation to him, during the negotiations, how he wouldn’t get enough opportunities at Arsenal because of Martinelli and how he’ll be a sure starter at Chelsea right from the start.

I guess things will change with a new manager there, and I think he’ll come good in the end, but if this continues for longer with Potter I could see him handing in a transfer request.

Having a gun held to his head and being told 25million is going to the war effort didn’t leave him with much of an option - no way he signed for Chelscum on merit ??

MudPRICK.
