Objectively a better choice than joining Arsenal, wouldn’t get too much playing time here. I’d pick Brighton too in his place.

I think this is a great signing for Brighton. I think he would have done well at Arsenal.
That’s another player for Brighton that will be sold for £100m+ in a few years. They’ve done some great business.

It’s personal terms so it’s Brighton-Kudus.
Kudus seems likely to be holding out for us or Chelsea.
It seems possible that we are still interested but need to sell Balogun first.

Think the word is out on Brighton. They’ve always ever been a stepping stone and guys like Kudus have seen players like White, Cucurella, MacAlister and Caicedo move (or not) with varying degrees of ease. He’s not going to want a 150m release clause that Brighton may want. Nobody wants to be the next Caicedo.
