You read about Petit being done with Arsenal or a second hand quote from Evra and how Henry thinks about Xhaka leading this club as captain. But other than that is completely dead quite. It seems like people are literally hiding whilst we have the one of the worst seasons in our history. Never thought we would ever fall below the 10th place season Chelsea had in 11/12. United and Liverpool haven’t even dropped so low. It’s a disgrace.

Think the Chelsea 10th place was 15/16, from memory in 11/12 they finished 6th and won the CL, but overall your point stands and it is a disgrace.

Keep thinking I’ll wake up to news that he’s been sacked or resigned, but another few days passes and another shit results comes our way.

Even worse: after every result I sort of expect the club to come out with news that he is fired or he has taken his leave…nothing.

Was Emery ever protected like this? Genuinely can’t remember. Arteta really seems ‘one of the boys’, starts to irk me a bit. Since the same people who protect him, laugh at our current state.

Honestly Carragher is just a cunt, he’s got into a personal with Kia and now he’s acting like he’s looking out for Arsenal’s interest when really he’s just going on about how shit we are. Yeh we know mate, we don’t need you and your agenda to make that clear to us.

All the Arsenal fans that are sucking Carra’s dick over it need to have a word with themselves, don’t get it twisted he’s taking great joy in our massive downswing at the moment.

I agree, that is a ridiculous excuse because we have got points this season where we didn’t deserve them so there are always going to be games where things don’t always go your way.

The fact is we are where we deserve to be and it’s his fault.
He picks the team, he coaches them, he persists with under performing players and he has lost the dressing room.
There is no one else to blame.
He and Edu should man up and admit they have made mistakes but they won’t because they’re both cowards, looking out for their own interests.

I used to go to Highbury a lot in the early eighties and it was pretty poor but at least we had a few decent players, even if they were getting on and seeing out their retirement.
The team in the late seventies had a few youngsters like Brady and Stapleton, but was mainly were old and inadequate players and the worst I can remember so there was at least a reason why we were so bad.

Arteta has no excuse because our squad is easily top six standard.

Why does the media pretend like Arteta wasn’t part of the recruitment process they’re criticising in his defense?

Kia is a slimeball wanker, but we didn’t have to sign Willian, or extend Luiz. Or sign Cedric. Or sign Mari. Could’ve just used Saliba based on how Fofana and Gabriel is doing he would’ve been fucking fine.

Xhaka was about to piss off for good, Elneny was in loan prison. Ceballos was another club’s problem. Kolasinac and Mustafi aren’t playing so they ain’t affecting results. Ozil was sidelined to do stupid things like Lacazette at #10 or Willian up front (How fucking awful was he at City that day).

None if these players have to actually be here.

Bad recruitment? You’re right. ARTETA’S recruitment sucks. He should piss off before giving him anymore money. Edu will though.

@David_Ornstein says he thinks Arsenal will back Arteta for a while longer yet, but things are not good enough currently.
[/quote]

When he says “Arsenal” are backing him, he should really say “the board,” because the club is the supporters.not some dodgy American billionaire.

Kroenke has proved his unsuitability for running a football club by employing Arteta.
Not sacking him has just confirmed it.

At this point I think we night need to go down for Kroenke to fuck off.

I think teams have realised now that if they just let us have the ball we won’t do anything with it. It’s such an effective tactic now.

Back towards end of last season they would try to dominate us and leave gaps which helped out store ‘perfection or nothing’ buildup plans.

And now it’s mainly nothing. The manager has very little ideas on how to fix this. He should go. I hope it’s fairly unanimous now?
