Mikel Arteta

I think there is no way they can’t act if we continue to have awful results but there is a nationwide lockdown about to occur as well lol.

I wonder if the sport gets put on hold, but this may affect the process.

No chance. They’ve figured out how to keep it going now.

The nationwide lockdown isn’t stopping football games though is it ?

Or do you mean it might slow down the process in regards to working on new candidates ?

Both to be honest, more likely the second possibility.

There will be none of Vinai going to Arteta’s house in the middle of the night.

If Arteta is repeating the same lines in his press conferences to KSE he’ll be here a while longer, the ownership don’t know any better.

They’ll act until it’s too late

The thing I can’t get out of my head is: What is so damn special about this guy that makes him the person we simply MUST keep around? And I mean no disrespect to the guy, but what the fuck is this club looking at when it has given him this much power this early on and will apparently not even flinch when he has us in 15th at Christmas?

Aside from the fact that we can understand his English, why has he lasted longer than Emery? They waited too long to pull the trigger there, and they’re going to wait even longer to pull the trigger here with a manager who has been easily worse in league terms. He won us the cup and that can’t be taken away, but the league is what matters and it’s been a disgrace. I just don’t understand why this guy appears invincible, but I hope that’s an illusion.

Ive just seen his interview. Things just not going our way.
Man is a fucking idiot.

‘Modern manager’ must mean clean image, talk bluster and brief the media endlessly for their support.

The owners dont, but Edu should know better, and it’s his responsibility.
I’m guessing his dumb thinking is that he thinks he’s going to look stupid if he sacks Arteta. :man_shrugging:

Edu’s role is usually the long term one at football clubs, so it’s very bad for the future of this club if he can’t do his job properly.

A shit coach/manager like Arteta is easily replaced.

Arteta has outed himself as a fraud with these suspect interviews, after 14 league matches you are where you deserve to be.

He hasn’t got a clue

Yeah it’s clear as day. Nobody can read what he’s trying to achieve.
Other managers just simply know how to nullify his sides from the start of a game.
We haven’t set the pace in one match this season. P

Can you honestly say Strollers , hand on the club badge , have you ever known any Arsenal teams as bad as this ?
I haven’t, even in the mid 70’s and early 80’s
Shocking state of affairs

75/76 Mee last year. This has the hallmarks though of being a very rough season. We won’t go down but it’s going too be horrendous. Looking at 14 defeats imo.

He’s being most let down by his most expensive players on big salaries.
Pepes lack of intent was woeful tonight.

Just not making the runs he should.

Lacashitter been the worst striker in the prem this season.

Willian on his mega deal only woke up in the last 10 minutes but otherwise has just been hoovering up the cash. Another Chelsea reject sent to drag us down.

As soon as he drops these shitters and/or boots them out the club a lot of this toxic shite will change. It only takes a bad player or two to make the whole team look shite.

He’s got youngsters en masse who can show a lot more intent as we’ve seen in the Europa.

He’s got to learn from his mistakes and be willing to boot these overpaid shitters out the club along with Xhaka or else he’s gonna lose his job and take us down to the relegation zone.

He’s had plenty of chances to change things.
He kept picking the same guys who aren’t good enough. He signed Willian. He marginalized a good young defender in favor of Rob Holding and David Luiz’s contract extension. He tied himself to old players on a lot of money who have backstabbed managers in the past. He’s getting exactly what he deserves.

:100: agree with @Joshua. Why did he give David Luiz an extension? Why sign Willian on a 3 year high wage deal?! The guy is 32 years old. Why sign Cedric on a 4 year deal if he’s so shit that he can’t even get start in the team. Why did he keep Xhaka who was practically out of the club this time last year? Why force Rob Holding to stay? Why does Eddie keep getting so many starts? Lots and lots of questionable and frankly bizarre decisions at this club and he’s brought it all on himself. There’s rumours flying around that Arteta has to play Kia’s players to keep them onside so he doesn’t get the sack? Wtf is this.

These players are cunts, but these same players also managed to beat City, Chelsea and Liverpool in the FA cup and Charity shield. It’s clear as day that Mikel is just out of his depth and doesn’t have enough experience to handle our current situation and the players at our club. Both him and Edu have to go, and the board MUST bring in someone with experience on both fronts otherwise we really are going to be in serious trouble.

The Eddie thing drives me nuts too.

I don’t know if Balogun is any good but I do know that Eddie should have been sold in the summer so we could actually take a look at Balogun. Fuck this Lego-haired idiot.

Cant score to save our lives, 9 subs with Auba injured and Balogun dosnt make the squad, it’s like we’re actively trying to make sure he dosnt sign.
