Luckily football hasn’t quite got to the stage of selling 15 year olds for millions of pounds, but in general, if 100 million were on the table for any player that hadn’t even made their professional debut it would be absolute idiocy not to take it.

Hopefully he plays about 2 games this season and develops as young talents should without all of this absolutely insane PR and pressure.
There are so many cautionary tales from talents who were meant to be among the best coaches had ever seen in their age groups that never amounted to much in the professional game.

I’ve been hearing a lot about him a year ago, how he’s the next big thing, wasn’t really bothered about it, didn’t have a clue they were talking about a 14 year old

This kid may be forced to be used more often that I thought from next season..
Which on one hand is sad, he’s still in school ffs. But on the other hand, damn what a talent.
We barely got any pens last season, this guy knows how to draw defenders in for the foul. Very intelligent, unlike the other fool on the left hand side.
