The ill discipline I’ve mentioned is about his spat with Neal Maupay which was apparent to anyone who watched that match. I don’t know what’s going on with him and Arteta outside a fight in Dubai but then again I have no idea if that happened or not.

I agree with you we don’t have a clue what is going on but the ill discipline in the Brigton match and Xhaka telling the fans to fuck off are two events I’ve compared that are well documented facts if you watched the games. Outside this I’ve never claimed to know more about the events even though I certainly would love to.

Thoughts on AMN bro?

Ngl I’ll be pretty disappointed if you’re still not pleased with his work

Still don’t rate him mate. Any stability he’s showing is because god tier Tierney is nestled in beside him, we’re having to essentially play with 2 LB’s and I think outside a squad player he’s still an area we should be looking to improve upon if we ever want to play nice football again.

No idea how he was MOTM in the Community Shield, I thought his performance was ordinary as fuck. Penalty was smooth like butter though so I have to give the kid credit there, that was cool.

@Bavin being the ‘You guys don’t know the ins and outs’ makes me laugh

90% of whatever we discuss here in this forum is pure speculation. Go to Ozil, Xhaka, Auba, Laca, AMN, Martinez threads and it is all speculations.

Be an edgelord in all those threads as well.

Smh :bellerin:

Och well each to their own

Even if I were to start thinking he was a good player, even if it was for another team ten years from now. You know I’ll never admit it to you or GC.

Don’t think I have to worry though.

Lol well are all of those guys missing from the first team too? No, which is why it doesn’t logically follow that I need to make the same post in threads about other players not in the same situation.

In a general sense, you might have reason to laugh because most of being a fan is conjecture, but if you read some of my others posts you’d have already seen that I covered that. There’s not really anyone disagreeing about this element, so bin that thanks.

However, once again repeating myself, if people were to then make a definitive determination on how, for example, Arsenal are handling it, then it would be fair to suggest people making these determinations know the internal facts prior to making such a deliberation.

Remind me never to get into an argument with you on this forum

Just to be clear, I’m in the ‘Guen is being a cunt’ camp. lol

I was more taking issue with some acting like Arsenal are handling it badly or that Guen is sort of being unfairly kept out of the team or in an unjustified way, without much evidenc eother than probably liking Guendouzi or disliking another player playing where Guen would be/might be.

If anything, I agree with those who are going off the reports etc because those plus his absence are good reasons to suggest he is being a cunt.

We may have other players playing who are worse than him, but if Guen cant even bring a good attitude to the table then maybe there’s the reason right there lol

I don’t think that anyone disagrees that Guendouzi is a cunt in this scenario. But at the same time still find it a waste that he is not being used, especially when we have to look at Xhaka.

So what’s the go with Guen ? Do we think he ends up staying or going this summer ? If he’s staying lets get him back meshing with the squad.

Arteta said they talked. At the time I thought it was just damage control after failing to get in worthy offers for him but you never know.

At this point I can see it going 2 ways:

  • we give him out on a loan to raise his worth again
  • he is given a chance to rectify his mistakes here

Simple.

You can say fck off to the fans but you can’t cross the boss.

IMO, a smart boss would allow his employee to say fuck off to him, but not such behavior to their fans.

Not in football. Anyone did anything to disrespect Fergie, they were out. As a manager you have to demand players run through walls for you. As soon as they don’t get behind everything you demand everything falls apart.

Thing is at the end of the day Arteta is the boss and as @sevchenko said his decisions have been totally vindicated by his success in silverware, the performances he has got out of this group, and the overall improvement in our team structure.

He is the one who interacts with the players day in and day out, he’s with them in training, so if someone is not only being dropped from the first team, but also the squad and being forced to train alone then they must of really fucked up. Arteta knows better than anyone what Arsenal fans can be like, and he knows that he will be judged on his results, so I’m sure he would also like to both Ozil and Geun on board, but if their not pulling their weight or being disrespectful to the coach and not taking their training and meetings seriously or whatever then Arteta HAS to discipline them. Otherwise he will lose both the team and the dressing room, Its that Simple.

Ughh, what a beta attitude!

You shouldn’t be in a position where players think they can say something like that and get away with it.
And if it is done, stand your ground else every player will take their liberties and the on pitch performance will be affected.

Boss is the boss. Players are supposed to respect him and listen to him. Having a player say fuck off to you is just a complete no.

Saying fuck off to fans/customer is completely fine because fans are suckers. They will continue to come to stadium even if the whole squad spite at them. There is no drawback.
