Yeah that doesn’t necessarily say he’s getting loaned, it could be interpreted both ways.

I think that’s a great move for him personally. Marseille have a great group of young players.
He’ll be getting plenty of game time to develop further. They also tend to be in European competitions every year as well.
Play a season or two there, his boyhood club Paris will come calling at some point.

Out of possession and defensive side of the ball is definitely his weakness and something that needs to be addressed. Ceballos and Xhaka look like defensive monsters in comparison

If he played as a dm or leftback occasionally like Dani or Xhaka I could totally see how comparing defensive stats make sense.
Guen plays as the more forward of a 3 man midfield
Anyway we have partey who is a great dm, our midfield is the most blunt midfield in the planet why do we focus on defensive numbers. I’m sick and tired of the way we play football.

It was the same when he played in a midfield two at Arsenal. His positioning from a defensive standpoint always stood out to me as a worry.

And yet we scored more goals and finished 1 single point from top 4. He was a kid and partnered with Xhaka. He’s more mature, Partey is fantastic and Ode/Esr help alot more from CAM than ozil for example.
