Manchester United and Arsenal are among the other clubs to have been linked with Tel in recent days.
However, this is emphasising Tottenham’s interest rather than ours.
I think Spurs may be willing to accept a dry loan, which could end up being the decisive factor here.
I think Bayern will be open to a sale or loan with obligation at a decent price.
Kompany doesn’t want to use him as a CF, even as Kane’s backup for whatever reason. That seems to be the biggest issue this season. It may be that he’s built his tactics around having a focal point box striker like Kane and Tel is clearly more of an interchanging mobile sort of player.
Whatever the reason, if Kompany only views Tel as a winger there isn’t a huge future because their attacking left is really crowded already and they clearly hope to sign Wirtz too this summer.
It feels like a great opportunity to sign the type of talent big clubs usually wouldn’t part with at this age.
Except those players may be leaving in large part because the “wingers” in Amorim’s system are really creative 10s who play in the pockets not pacy wide forwards…which is also Tel’s profile.
I don’t think either is being forced out because of tactics personally.
They’re leaving because a Garnacho sale would count as pure profit and they’re desperate to get Rashford off the wage bill.
