Mathys Tel

Clubs that were already interested in Mathys Tel before his transfer to FC Bayern never lost sight of him. Arsenal FC is one of them.

Let’s wait and see if this one has legs.

He actually seems like a very interesting profile.

I’d be very happy if we could pull this off.

This could be the revenge for Gnabry. Apparently that guy is a huge talent. Could make an impact right now too.

Great ball kicking :+1:

It is strange how he’s not used much this season. I know Bayern are stacked with forwards but every time I’ve seen him he’s such a nuisance for opponents, and often enough he managed to get a goal or an assist.

I don’t think I’ve caught him playing this season so he may have regressed, dunno.

Can he play on either wing as well as up top?

How’s his scanning?

19 and with crazy versatility across the front line it’s an absolute no brainer if we can get him in. He always strikes me as being someone with huge potential so it’s weird that Bayern don’t seem too invested in him.

Yeah, it’s a low risk high reward kind of investment.

I’d much rather go with that than with big risk mediocre award (most likely) as it’s in Cunha’s case for example. Even Sesko seems pretty steep for what he’s shown so far.

This guy would be a very reasonable target for us, unless they are already asking for some silly money. I’d be OK with something around 30M euros. Probaly doesn’t affect us much.

Bet it will only be a loan if he comes though

The way this window has gone so far, I’d be happy bringing in anyone who has two.

Silly jokes aside, this is a player I’ve watched a lot of and have wanted us to sign for a long time.

Quick, very versatile and a lethal finisher who regularly outperforms his xG. Think Martinelli when he broke out in the side, but more technically proficient and with a higher ceiling.

May not be the “blockbuster” signing we all want, but this is a move that has a huge potential upside.

I’d sanction a move for any fee up to £47.4 million.

I wouldn’t even mind a dry loan.
You’d prefer the option to buy, but even it’s just a loan it would get us into a better position to get him permanently in the summer if he does well and clicks with the team, compared to some other random club.

Just as we did with Odegaard.

You trolling?

No I’m not trolling, someone hacked my account and posted that question yesterday. Bl1nk is looking into this security breach as we speak.

I know a lot about this specific player.

Except for his name?

There we land. Chelsea ruled out according to German media.

Seems like Spurs and Man Utd are our rivals for this signing. Two teams fighting relegation, or 2nd placed Arsenal…

Gives spurs a free run at Nico Williams if we get Tel

(Alright, stop laughing!)

By the looks of it he has two…

I’ll believe it when I see it but for now I think this is just the usual suspects putting 2 and 2 together.

I still think we’ll sign someone but I reckon it’d be a completely left field move and it’d pretty advanced before we hear anything about it.
Based of what we heard from guys like Ornstein and even Arteta himself, if we sign a forward, it’ll be a striker and it’d be someone more seasoned.

Just go in for him, we can beat everyone else to this signing
