Need to see the video but doesn’t look like it can have been a great pass to him from martinelli given those stills.
Looks like he’s played it too close to his feet rather than in front of him where he could bang it (probably still wouldn’t).
Really tired of him not using the lace of his foot when it comes to goalscoring opportunities. Missed a really good chance late on.
Another ineffective and limited performance from Odegaard. He’s having a poor season and it’s time to accept he isn’t your prime playmaker ie Fabregas/Ozil.
If we don’t sign a playmaker with output in the summer then expect the creativity aspect to be the same.

He was fucking shit today tbh. I don’t really even expect him to be a bjg goal threat but his work on the ball has been limited to the odd neat pass but nothing incisive.

Really unfortunate how he lost his goal threat. There was a point two years ago when I was mad at him becoming a bit too cocky with his shooting, he used to have plenty of attempts at the goal(from far as well) before but now it’s like he’s allergic to it, and the off chance you see him shooting he looks hopeless.

Odegaard is on the last line when the ball is played through for MLS. If he carries on his run, he might have been able to get on the end of the low cross across the Villa 6 yard box. But he slows his run and ends up by the penalty spot.
If we fall further behind in the title race, I would confine Odegaard to CL matches and allow him to recover.
He is clearly still recovering and off form.

Yeah not at his best for sure. Even when Saka was around him.
That injury has disrupted his season. It’s not just him though, we as a team look jaded and stretched.

I truly believe it’s because they gave everything in 2024 and still fell short of winning the title. That kind of disappointment must be a massive blow, both mentally and physically. The season before hurt too.
It’s likely contributing to more injuries, a loss of confidence, and other struggles.

He’s been trash all season. Can only think of about 3 or 4 games where he delivered anything remotely like a captains performance.
Like I said before, I’m worried about him.
If people could just include “in the three games…” as part of this complaint it’d be a time saver for me. Appreciated.

this is very worrying. Barely any goals and assists this season. 
Though I wonder if the assists struggle is from shit finishing from everyone else.
