Martin Ødegaard (c) (8)

You wonder how important he was/is for us as a captain, chattin shit and running around like a cat chasing a laser pointer. As you suggest, we look like a different team. It is honestly insane that he is this good on the ball and works so hard without it at the same time.

Dream combination. I think he’s put to bed the idea that he isn’t a leader. Sure, he isn’t a kick a guy in the face leader, but he’s the main guy driving things on both sides of the ball for hs

Odegaard has always been a leader for this team. His work rate during the match is amazing. Always gives everything for the team, gets the crowd going. Genuinely hope we can keep this core group of players together because they really are something special.

Wish we had this team against City and Pool

Don’t think those two games are good references. We should have won both games if it wasn’t for silly defensive mistakes and injuries to our defenders.

I think we could have definitely used him against Newcastle, maybe Bournemouth too.

Amazing news!

Could watch Odegaard vids all day

In poor form and will continue to get trotted out, team approach doesn’t help matters

Nwaneri is too young to be given significant minutes

He’s a point of failure in the team and that is what happens when you offload attacking players and fail to bring in similar profiles instead opting to sign a former top player who is now utterly cooked.

Capitano saw Henry criticizing and said “Watch this!”.

Brilliant cameo. If Jesus didn’t get the hat-trick, he’ll be my MOTM.

Odegaard back to his best when he came on.

I hope they all listened to what Henry said the other night.

lol not a single player in our team paid any mind to what Henry was saying. They take directions from the people that are proven to be significantly better at coaching than him not the person doing punditry on Monday night football

I think Martin was up Monday night slicing that segment into his own personal podcast to listen on repeat all week.

Perhaps. I think they could all learn something from that segment though. Especially Martinelli.

Need Ode passing into those counter attack areas, proved today it worked

Helps when theres a runner

Something to note even though he’s missed a chunk of games:

What happened to scoring goals from him? Just one goal this season is it?

Yes, a pen
