Once it is determined a permanent cannot be sorted without the selling club having their buyback clause the price had better come down. This is not bad, but I’d still like to see details on the buyback, and there likely will be add-ons also, as per some rumours I saw on negotiations yesterday.
Works out at about £29m that’s a bargain and half tbf

Yeah if I knew we’d only be paying £29m for Odegaard I’d have rather him all along. £20m for Aouar and £25m for Ramsdale and it’s still cheaper than Maddison lol

£29m is superb business and about the price a talent like Odegaard is worth. He’s largely unproven, untested at the highest level and not wanted by his club there’s no way we should have been paying north of €35-40m

Yeh it’s about on the money for me, I think we’ve done well here but we haven’t won the lottery. I just pray it’s not riddled with shit greedy clauses that over time make it look less substantially in our favour.
