Marquinhos

Hulk regen indeed.

A very very good athlete no doubt. Quite interested to see how he developes.

He’s a big boi.

That play where he easily pinned Alonso, who was then forced to hang on for dear life and drag him down to prevent him running behind, was pretty impressive in terms of his strength at this age.

I still haven’t really seen him do anything special or notable with the ball. I like that his instincts are to move it quickly though.

Excellent performance. I’m very curious about his potential impact this year. There might be a handy player in there.

I liked him allot in pre-season. He’s strong and goes after the ball when out of possession.

I’ll reserve judgement until I see him do it in the first team in a competitive game. So far, he’s looked alright but I haven’t seen anything to be excited about it I am being honest.

Can’t wait to see him in the Europa League.

Marquinhos first half brace today, both headers, the first one was almost impossible to miss but the second was very nice. I tuned in for about 15 minutes and he was kind of sloppy otherwise with a few misplaced passes.

Lino Sousa the LB looks pretty intriguing. Good technique and decision-making and they have him playing like Zinchenko, overlapping at times, other times drifting into midfield.

Man’s scoring headers with consummate ease

Is it a similar situation to Balogun where he’s too good to be playing for the youth team?

I was thinking if it was worth keeping him around for 6 months to ease up his integration here in England and then we can look for a loan in January.

Well at least we know he’s good in the U21s.

There’s no way you said that. That’s what I was gonna go with first but then I thought it may sound weird.
