Marc Guehi

But we may be the team most likely to dominate in the next free years…and therefore most likely to win titles.

Plus on the club side, I love the fact that we have an excellent squad now, but are looking to strengthen further. That’s what Utd and Fergie always used to do and was always jealous of them for that reason.

I cried first time when watching it.

City won the league with 100 and 98 points in 2017/18 and 2018/19 respectively.
Their CB options you ask?
Kompani, Otamendi, Laporte, John Stones, Mangala.
5 CBs for 2 positions.

Hincapie’s primary utlizition is going to be LB as alternative to Calafiori, so it makes perfect sense to headhunt for another CB.

We want to dominate this league? We need to be stacked.

Do you think there’s Room in the squad for Marc Guehi?

If we buy a CB it’s basically an admission that MLS is not it at LB anymore. I doubt any of us massively disagree although he’s still capable there, let’s not be silly.

I think guehi in during the summer and a full season loan for MLS where he could play CM, wouldn’t be the worst thing.

Don’t know, guehi isn’t exactly top tier but he’s more than a stable backup for our big boys.

Yeah, I like that idea of sending out MLS next season on loan. Give him a full year somewhere where he can be a starter.

Pretty sure Lisa can tear the squad apart to fit in Marc.

Something that’s always inevitable in a transfer window if the last 6 years are anything to go by.

Arsenal signing a CB/Full-back.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this happens at some point.

Is this where we’re meant to throw a spoon?

Putting Guehi in means we don’t have to rely on Skelly at left back - with all the options we’ll have then Skelly can be moved to midfield where he has grown playing prior to the left back position. He got done so many times against Liverpool !?

Sam Lee, the City correspondent at Thh Athletic said he thinks Guehi fancies a move to Liverpool and maybe Arsenal more than City too.

To me the London factor is the main that would make sense if he picks us.

Plus the Eze connection as well…nothing like a joining up with a former teammate aka Merino and Zubi!

Very unambitious of him either way. Unless we expect a big departure of either Saliba or Gabriel, Guehi will not see much game time here.

Maybe he’s okay with that, not being ambitious but staying in London, winning trophies, playing the occasional big game.

Or he backs himself to get ahead of either Saliba and Gabriel, which would suddenly make him very ambitious

Totally disagree with this. Look how much game time Hincapie has had already. We can make space for him by sending MLS out on loan for the season. Plenty of games for Saliba, Gabriel, and Guehi over the course of the season.

The only way he gets into our starting lineup is if Gabriel or Saliba are injured.

There’s no precedent for rotating your CBs throughout the season unless it’s low level cup games. Your best players play every week unless they can’t.

He is miles off our existing CB options as well. And he’ll be coming on huge wages. This is a real shitter of a deal if it’s true.

Guehi is a waste of time.
