If they do hire Ole, I honestly will root for them to go on a run this spring just because (a) I’d rather have them get CL than a club like Chelsea anyway and (b) it would be 10/10 hilarity if they ended up giving Ole the permanent job again.

They played some good stuff at times under Ole but they were never a serious team.
That 2nd place league finish came with 74 points.
The best they’ve looked post Fergie is under Mourinho. They had their best win percentage under him and he’s won the most trophies too post Fergie. He also has that 2nd place finish behind City’s centurions.
I know I’ve said it many times now but not getting Conte in 2021 was such misstep from them.

With them being out of every competition, apart from the PL, there’s no excuse for Man U to not finish in the CL places, despite not having a proper manager.
They won’t and it’ll be funny.

what season did we not have europe, was it 21/22? if it was we must be close to that seeing as Forest put us out the FAC in 2022 at this same round, did we go far in the league cup
