Manchester United

He’s in that pic of 5 I was talking about and was a good time reference imo. Early - mid 2010’s everything about the club was pretty much a joke, even with the odd fa cup wins in there.

Injured and shit.

hmm I think there’s The United Stand / Mark Goldbridge has a rant channel too

Nope.

Zidane should go anywhere near that shit show. He’d get the respect of the players though.

No way has Zidane sat on the sidelines this long just to take command of the United dumpster fire.

The name and money will always be attractive to a lot of mangers but I think both established top level managers who have made their name and money (ie, Zidane) and the hottest up-and-coming managers (ie, Xabi Alonso) will turn them down at this point.

The 8-2 was the culminating event in our banter era. I’d say them getting slapped 7-0 by Liverpool is more embarrassing.

Also constantly getting slapped home and away by their neighbors is something we haven’t experienced.

Last year we have seen, eh? I think we played very good football last season

You what?! :arteta:

If he thinks that he really should be sacked their football is diabolical.

Someone showed me some Man Utd manager stats around goals scored, goals conceded and points p90.

Erik ranks the worst by some distance since SAF. Mourinho at the top, Ole is second.

I know we’ve given him shit before but Ole had the Man Utd play some good football to be fair. I do remember at there was one period in 2021 I believe where they were one of the most entertaining sides in the world.

Job became too big for him because at Man Utd you don’t want ro just play good football but also win things, and they weren’t gonna do that under him.

Manchester United sacked all their post-Ferguson managers because they expected them to win titles in 18 months.

They failed to realise that most of their domination was due to Alex Ferguson. When the figurehead of a successful organisation goes, things rarely stay at that same level, unless they specifically choose their successor.

I know some Utd fans who want Ole and Mourinho back. At least there was some foundation. Now they’ve become the laughing stock of the league. Arguably in a worse state than Chelsea (which is wild to even say, given their spending).

At the start of this season, I genuinely thought they’d be Top 3.

All-in-all, I’m glad they’re failing. Karma for all the dodgy decisions that went their way over the last 30 years.

Almost feel sorry for him in that interview, he’s all over the place and seems desperate.

If that’s how he communicates with the players it explains their football.

Emery >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ETH

Emery’s run at Arsenal isn’t too dissimilar to ETH at United tbh…

1st season decent points tally inflated by lots of unconvincing performances.

2nd season it just looks a dogs breakfast.

He’ll lose at Forest on Sunday

I agree.
It’s obvious the jump in quality of the players and the league is too much much for ETH, so players at Man U know this and aren’t giving him any respect.

It would have been interesting to see how Emery would have done with us if he had been given the same backing as Arteta.

Well Fergie did choose Moyse as his successor which was one of the worst decisions he ever made.

oh boy, that was an awful decision! I thought he just sang his praises. Man Utd was/is too big for Moyes.

Fergie underestimated how good he was and thus how difficult the job was going to be.

No lies detected. Emery has the much better CV. He’s overachieved on multiple occasions with different teams, and in his case he actually went all the way by winning the EL , the most since the competition was created.
