Hard to beat this meme for accuracy when it comes to scandals:

The shares are identical except that the Class B has voting rights and the Class A does not. “Some” similarities to Alphabet (Google shares split between GOOGL and GOOG). There is not a monetary difference between the Man U class shares. Being NYSE listed (or the FTSE for that matter) means that adherence to securities laws are in place–they can’t screw over the shareholders on a whim/buyout deal.

But putting money behind the Glazers’ brain trust probably isn’t the best idea even if the club is a commercial juggernaut.

EDIT:

Adding the article that explains that the Glazers have enormous control over a potential sale and that a private equity takeover is unlikely. Would have to be an oil nation state that can print money and wishes to, imo.

Indeed but if I were to invest I’d wait and pray for their complete collapse until their share price is on the floor to scoop some up and sell 20-30 years down the line.

If I were to buy shares of MANU, it would be for a quick trade. I’d feel too gross :face_vomiting: “investing” in a club that I detest so much for any appreciable length of time.

Too many other places to allocate capital, imo.

Fucking hell

How the fuck do they let something like that slip by with no one in the club aware. They can’t buy good press at the moment!

Always lovely to read hypocritical messages from United fans about Partey’s situation when they had such amazing characters in their team.

The fuck is going on at United :joy::joy:

all these things coming out all at the same time…almost feels like someone is trying to devalue the club.

I blame ten Hag, personally

:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Glazers don’t invest, that is the root of all problems.

Not sure the right investment can stop your players and coaches from being wife beaters and paedos lol

Of course it can’t, but Neville might say it can.

They don’t invest yet have some of the highest spending on new signings every season

I see they jow moved on to a new target. Countless reports in recent days about Sancho’s character.

Some of the stuff I’ve seen that tries to paint him as having a poor attitude because he’s introverted is proper weird.

Friendly reminder he is a kid, just 23 years old. I swear all of these cunts were on their high horse supporting Dele a while ago when they were burying him nonstop before his interview.

How about Man Utd take responsibility for handing him the contract they did and try to make things work instead of trying to force him out, because that’s clearly what they’re trying to do here.
