Manchester City*

We’ve been without Gabriel, Saliba, Odegaard, Havertz, Califiori, White, Timber, Martinelli, Saka, etc, with injuries this season and just get on with it but when Man City get a couple of injuries it’s front page news.

Why do the media care so much when the biggest cheating club in Europe have a few injuries when they know full well they’ll just buy their way out of trouble like they always do?

Because it riles up opposition fans, especially Arsenal and that means eyeballs.

There’s no money in pissing off City fans. There aren’t enough of them to make money off of.

It’s because the media is also bought.

Four weeks from today is 2/3, six weeks 2/17.

He’ll be racing to make it back for City’s away fixtures against Spurs and Liverpool and for the second leg of the cup semifinal.

Big opportunity for us to stretch the lead over the next 3-4 fixtures.

Great.

Their defensive line is severed. Opponents should do their best to have a go at their inexperience backline now.

Why would you use American date format? Why?

There’s a really obvious explanation lol

Habit, I agree it’s stupid!

@shamrockgooner I don’t see how it is obvious that Powderfinger has a stupid habit

Or the powder on his finger is gun powder?

Based on this interaction, where do you think @Powderfinger might be from that explains why he uses that format?

Maybe they can start using their previous January signings. The £35m Uzbek centre back and/or recall their highly rated £30m centre back Reis…

Just an idea

That’s so so unfortunate.
I’m so sorry for your loss mister Guardiola.

Arteta has had loads of games where he’s without a starting CB or striker, as well as missing Saka, Martinelli, Timber, Calafiori and Odegaard.

So Guardiola, Man City supporters and the media using injuries as an excuse is wearing a bit thin because we’ve had more long term injuries to key players than they have, yet we’re sitting above them.

Rather than fawning all over Guardiola, perhaps the media should try to establish who’s the better manager at adapting to these situations.

Great to see them growing stronger into the season.

Only hit them for 15 of the 115. Want to see them suffer organically.
