I don’t buy the idea of this being a full on decider like last seasons fixture was but given the difficulty of our schedule, the necessity for Arsenal to win the game is much greater.

If we had 69 points on the board like we should have (Fulham, Spurs and Newcastle fuck ups), then I would agree that this isn’t a must-win.
But given that there’s nothing separating the 3 teams. We must win this game, start creating distance between ourselves and City.
It’s been forever since we’ve won here, now’s the time to do it.
Though I’d take a draw right now if offered - can’t see us beating City 3 x in 1 campaign.

Last match we won by targeting Gvardiol all game. Pep is fully aware and will adjust. He’ll probably have a few unexpected curveballs of his own.

That would be a huge statement not just for this season but for this generation of Arsenal players. If that were to happen we would surely be considered one of the top two teams in Europe.

Any updates on Martinelli lately?
If he can’t start, I absolutely do not want to see Trossard starting. He’s one player less on the pitch automatically, he won’t get nowhere near the ball against Walker.
If Martinelli can’t I think Jesus should be ready for a start now
