How is this game suddenly around the corner? Feels like forever I’ve been saying how long the wait is.
I don’t buy the idea of this being a full on decider like last seasons fixture was but given the difficulty of our schedule, the necessity for Arsenal to win the game is much greater.
Did Partey play in the home fixture?
Came on as a late sub and played a part in the winning goal.
Yup, that ball to Tomiyasu was critical
If we had 69 points on the board like we should have (Fulham, Spurs and Newcastle fuck ups), then I would agree that this isn’t a must-win.
But given that there’s nothing separating the 3 teams. We must win this game, start creating distance between ourselves and City.
It’s been forever since we’ve won here, now’s the time to do it.
Though I’d take a draw right now if offered - can’t see us beating City 3 x in 1 campaign.
Last match we won by targeting Gvardiol all game. Pep is fully aware and will adjust. He’ll probably have a few unexpected curveballs of his own.
That would be a huge statement not just for this season but for this generation of Arsenal players. If that were to happen we would surely be considered one of the top two teams in Europe.
The biggest curve ball Guardiola has is a bench full of world class players.
If Martinelli can’t make it would you play Jesus on the left or Trossard?
We have to win every game we have now, not just this one
Jesus personally
is kyle walker any good ?
18 wins ???
At womanising, yes
That’s unfortunately what’s required to win the league these days.
Liverpool will continue getting lucky and City will stay in 2nd gear until they don’t have to.
Any updates on Martinelli lately?
If he can’t start, I absolutely do not want to see Trossard starting. He’s one player less on the pitch automatically, he won’t get nowhere near the ball against Walker.
If Martinelli can’t I think Jesus should be ready for a start now
I’m dreading this match.
Same.
