International football is so boring, it ruins the flow of the season, especially as it’s pointless friendlies.
I’d rather see us get a win against Man City than England win the Euros.

Ferguson used to do it at Man U with certain players as well.
What a boring weekend this was. I had to go on walks to fill the time ffs. Thank you to the weather gods for giving us nice weather on the international break.

For some reason it feels like a much bigger game that the one last season at around this time.
At the time I had a feeling we just had to not to lose to survive, you had that David vs Goliath feeling… Now it’s totally different.
It’s Goliath vs Goliath this time.
They have completely outclassed us at that time (at the Etihad). Can’t see that happening now at all.
NOW is the time to turn things around.

The pressure is more on Man City than us.
They’re at home, behind us in the league and we’ve already beaten them this season so I think we’ll get at least a draw although I do expect them to get some dubious decisions going their way.
Doesn’t really feel like that. Think the pressure is more on us. Feels like everyone is just waiting for us to mess up so they can say “see, typical Arsenal bottlers.”

I think there is huge pressure on both clubs.
City to make sure they don’t slip further away from the top.
And Arsenal are carrying the burden of having to prove themselves to the whole world.
It’s a classic, high stakes title match. Both teams have so much to lose. City have been there and done it though, which means in theory they are better equipped to deal with the pressure.
The thing I am nervous about is that we find out if we’re good enough, if this team / manager has what it takes. One loss doesn’t dictate our destiny, obviously, but this is just one of those situations where you need a result.

I don’t have that feeling now at all.
Last season I had it.
But not it’s it’s just down to whether we’ll win the league or won’t.
We are equal contenders just as City. Over the last two seasons we have proved out quality and our project. Anyone who doesn’t take us seroius still isn’t seroius himself and just doesn’t have a clue.
Simply, we are up there. The last season we weren’t. It’s just about winning it now.
I just don’t have that feeling, that I had the last season, that we have to PROVE something. Nope. Win or lose.
Whether we have to win at the Etihad, or lose, don’t care.

It’s true that the media want Liverpool to win the title but it takes a bit of the pressure off us.
It’s similar to when we beat Liverpool to win the league at their ground and we were the underdogs.
Graham was calm about it while they seemed nervous despite being at home and arguably the best team in Europe.
The expectation is for either Klopp to win it and ride off into the sunset or Man City to get yet another title but we’re better than last season, with more experience and stronger squad so if the media want to write us off, it puts the pressure on our rivals rather than our players.
Wrap the game up being 0-4 by HT, rest players for Luton
