I agree but like Derby who spent nothing and hold the record for the lowest points in the PL, they know that with such little investment, the only achievement they might get this season is breaking that record.
It must be frustrating for their supporters to see the inevitability of the situation, making so few signings after getting promoted, especially with the massive amount they got for getting there.
It’s true that spending big doesn’t guarantee success but no investment, especially moving to the PL, will almost guarantee failure.
