If you get promoted to the Premier League you need to upgrade your league 2 level stadium.

In non league, teams were denied promotion because their grounds didn’t reach the football league’s standards. I don’t think it’s happened for a while, but it’s part of the game that your ground has to be up to scratch.

Has anyone seen any renders of what they’re going to do with the Bobbers stand? Fuck me, it’s only about fifteen feet from touchline to the back wall. Then there’s a narrow footpath, then houses.
They certainly don’t need any more car parking spaces because all their supporters share the same car.

What do you mean? A new stand is obviously replacing it. They have to comply with PL rules. Needs media suites and the like.
Doubt that would be allowed. As you say, the only way is up for that stand and they’re severely restricted by the space they can do it in.

They’re just doing what they need to do to make it fit in with the rules. They’ll keep it as simple as can be I’d imagine given they’ll have a whole new stadium in a few years anyway.
It’ll be the minimum, especially since complying with PL regulations is likely to be a one season only problem.

Construction hasn’t even started on new stadium yet. Won’t be ready until 2026.
Still funny we haven’t seen any renders for the Bobbers renovations yet, as short-lived as they may be.
They could come close to beating the lowest amount of PL points that Derby got but it won’t be easy.

That Derby team is clearly the benchmark for the worst in terms of performance. I kinda doubt Luton do that badly.
