Yeah Italian and French clubs are broke, and Torreira/Guendouzi are two of the last deadwood hangover left behind by Wenger and Emery so they just need to get gone asap so we never have to think about them again.
€25m sounds like a great deal as well as getting their wages off the books.

I wish him well back in Italy and hope he does well for Fiorentina. Will always remember the goal he scored against Spurs at the Emirates. It is unfortunate that it didn’t work out at Arsenal, but we just have to move on and secure as much as we can in terms of a transfer fee and reinvest in the summer. The fee isn’t bad considering what he has left on his contract so think Edu has done ok here.

Torreira is really a player I wish we tried to facilitate to work within the team more, especially when our CM options have been so awful. It’s a shame he has an awful mentality and couldn’t adapt to the English climate because he’s a tidy little player that could have been useful

Not angry. I think he’s worth more than that and I’d expect the club to secure more than €15m for someone who’s been a top performing midfielder in Italy this year

Apparently Fiorentina wanted a discount on the €15 million they were going to pay and also wanted Torreira to take a pay cut.
