Can’t really blame them. Being a professional footballer is one thing, but sharing the pitch with the greatest of all time is whole different story… Especially since the likes of Pedri and De Jong grew up watching him.

To a large extent they’re great due to athleticism, which imho is largely down to PED intake. They’re obviously technically very good but they aren’t technically the best of all time, especially CR7.
It’s no coincidence Messi is the GOAT after having a HGH exemption. Give Aimar, Saviola, Ortega and Riquelme a HGH exemption and they’d go up 10 levels too.
