Leicester City

They’ve not won it yet.

Leeds diabolical though

Assuming Ipswich are the other team to guarantee automatic promotion that is some uninspiring shite in the playoffs

@RockyMaivia check out this fucking anomaly!!!

My leeds mate couldn’t believe that, he can’t remember a single chance leeds had and said they got absolutely dicked (as the scoreline suggests).

Anyway dirty bastards have cost me £20 so hope they finish third and flop the playoffs again.

Damn

He’s an idiot for accepting the job. It was a very hard task to keep them up anyway and a quick look at their business in the summer would have told him everything he needed to know about how much they truly cared about staying up.

Lol

Signing RVN told their supporters how little they cared about staying up. :grinning:

Clubs like Leicester, Norwich, Southampton, etc, refuse to invest to stay in the PL, but are quite happy to take the money from getting promoted.

Is this a criticism or just an observation?

I think it’s a nice excuse to jump ship before being proven to be fraudulent.

No surprises there, the pesky rat fuck.

If I was a supporter of any of these clubs it would definitely be a criticism.

I wonder whether the RvN appointment has any similarities to Everton signing Ancelotti

I mean… was that ever going to last for more than 2 minutes?

Well it lasted 18 months…

There isn’t any similarities at all

Weird comparison - why?

I don’t know if it would be a fair one though. They spent 80m, brought in 30m so 50m net spend (numbers from wiki) on promotion. They might double that and still go down and end up with ffp issues a division down.

Three teams have to go down and its getting harder and harder to come up and then maintain as a PL club. Brentford managed it on a lesser net spend but there was already a lot more “right” at that club when they came up than there is at Leicester. Same goes for Brighton when they made the jump.

I don’t think I’d particularly care about spend if i was a fan of theirs, I’d be far more concerned about how the club was a massive shit show.

But they still have the oldest player in the PL starting some games for them.
They spent the bare minimum to try and stay in the league but their supporters have gone from winning the title and FA Cup to relegation fodder in just a few seasons and like you say, the club is on a par with Man U on how badly it’s run.

That is not true though, as i just pointed out above.
