Ref has been a joke. No VAR for Saka takedown in the box. No foul when J20 being held on the edge of the box in a good attacking move. Yet we getting a booking and called for every tap.

The thing is… They were doing it in the PL too - before the WC, but for some reason they decided to cut the added time after the restart…
Is it just me? You always had AT LEAST 5 mins added at the end, in the first half of the season… Often close to 10, but nowadays that seems rare…

Can’t believe just 2 minutes were added.
Anyway, good performance so far, lacking the goal. Some great combinations from the boys. Gotta say though, Xhaka is becoming so utterly pointless now.

And no clarity in how far back they can go after a goal. They need a hard stop in that. I get it was a foul, but it seems to vary game to game on what they check and don’t check.

Yeah final third is only thing lacking… we are playing well against their counter at least, which is what I was worried about if we just didn’t have our shooting boots today.
Keep grinding - LC are a suicidal team so we should unlock them if we just keep playing.
Pull Martinelli on 60 if he doesn’t do more… pull Xhaka at 65-70 and get Partey in if we need a goal still. Need more from our captain today too… too often dawdling instead of shifting things quickly. Ramsdale needs to stay vigilant and play a bit sweeper keeper to continue to compress the field for them.

Love Xhaka, but he’s become very frustrating. Slowing things down too much and then a loose ball on the edge of the box and he’s backing away instead of going in for a strike.
Yeah string of games where he has been the old Xhaka… and on a day like today, we need a little bit more quality in that final third.

Could easily be 2-0 up if that flappy fuckwit Ward didn’t get bailed out for a pathetic attempt at a punch and Souttar was actually penalised for dragging Saka down in the box.
Goes without saying, we need a goal to force these cunts out of their low block. Gonna be a long last 15 games or so with almost every team playing us this way.

Agree. Although J20 has been great. He was really spreading then ball around with progressive passes. He’s been on top form.

I thought so too but on video, White not only had his arm over Ward’s, but he used his right hand to hold it down too lol… it was foul all day unfortunately… amazing that the ref didn’t see it to begin with, but I guess the angle was against him.
People shocked that Xhaka is going back to being shit. Form is temporary etc etc
