The shot Donnarumma saved was a very good effort on his weak foot that was tipped around the bar by a single finger tip. Just great fucking goalkeeping.
Where I will kill him is the pass to Merino that Neves intercepted. He puts it well in front of him for no reason so he can only desperately poke at it with his right. Trossard could have easily hit laid it to him in stride on his left and Merino is sweeping that fucking ball into the net from that range.

Martinelli’s indecisiveness rubbed off on him, no other explanation.
So many unnecessary touches today, it was like he was purposefully not releasing the ball at the right time.
Sell in the summer!

Good stop gap signing but the fact we’re still relying on him as much as we are is criminal
Technically gifted but frustrating to watch sometimes. We need to invest significantly in a new winger in the summer.

Trossard again exploring a move to the Saudi Pro League who have previously expressed interest.
At 30 and with one more year left on his contract, it’s understood that he sees now as the opportune time to get a final lucrative contract and play regularly. The north London club would not stand in his way.
I would rather keep Trossard over Martinelli

Doesn’t make sense though, Trossard is at the last point for himself and the club to make money and martinelli has more chance to become a 15 goal winger again.
I know it sounds unlikely but we have seen him produce it. Trossard is probably more reliable and useful right now but not by enough to ignore the financial logic of selling him over gabi.
