I think he can be a bit petty and even Arteta joked about him being a moaner. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing. It’s at least a sign that he cares.

Not sure if he will sign a contract extension but would be good to get a fee for him in the summer.
Good player to have as a squad player, but to rely on him as your primary winger? Nope.
I think if we’re gonna sign two forwards, one of Trossard and Jesus will go.
Jesus was the favourite for it because of his massive wages too but the injury complicates things.
I could see a scenario where we stick with both, and sign some forwards, and make a decision in January instead, hopefully by then Jesus will be fit too.

You best bet is Auba’s Al-Qadsiah, they’re not PIF club but they’re loaded.
The problem I have with Trossard (great goal on the weekend btw) is that he, much like all our attackers, spend too much time thinking rather than operating on pure instinct like he used to during his first year or so with us.
He used to just rifle the ball in the top net without a care in the world and now he’s become a bit laboured in his approach.
I wonder how much of it is down to him vs. coach instruction.

Anonymous bar the counter where he gave it away and the one good shot.
Did a good job when he came deep but he was a proper ghost once we got into the box bar that big chance on the counter.
PSG dealt with him with such ease. They were probably relieved every time we had to cross the ball as our main threats was 5’5" Trossard and a box crushing Merino.
Cover Merino and they’ve had nothing to worry about.
