He had a good game in the first half but that second half from him, pffft.
Nearly handed them a goal and then missed the pen.
Still a fan, but he really is a bozo at times. Technically so good, but he seems like he belongs in a circa 2010 Wenger team.

got a feeling he might be gone at the end of this season. Was murmurings of him being offered another couple of years contract but i cant see it now.

Trossard is so odd at times. For all his technical qualities, there are instances in each match where he plays like a Bolton player on the ball. You cannot have free flowing sort of football if he is involved in the buildup.
Yes he is productive but gameplay, which requires patience, might not be something that works with him.

Tbf he played like that the whole last season.
He’s very frustrating in possession and often rushes things and goes for some moves and passes that can’t be executed.

He is not stylistically a fit, thankfully his production has been very good but he’s very frustrating if he isn’t scoring
Trossard is a good and productive player but as is always the case with bench players when you have to rely on them for longer stretches of time you start to get reminders of why they are bench players.

To be fair to him, as bad as I thought he was, none of the players that came on had a better game than him.
I actually thought we would’ve had a better chance at nicking a point if he stayed on.
Looked terrible in the 30 minutes I saw.

I think he dribbled the ball straight out of play (could have been Martinelli, I’m not sure), but after that I was like “yeah, better just go to the pool while the kids are at brunch”
