I agree, he’d be a starter for almost any PL club,
He did well when he arrived here but his performances are actually getting better and has become an important player for us so although it’s a difficult decision for Arteta it’s a nice problem for him to have.

He’s undroppable atm.
Ødegaard’s injury has really benefitted Leo - he now starts every important game. He’s become a central figure in the starting XI.
We’ve unlocked so much variety to our play with Havertz and Tross. They’ve filled the Ødegaard void in such an interesting way.

Now he’s just a finisher, with the ball he’s very poor now

This match kind of sums up why certain players are bench players even in good form. He is one of them.

i feel if we can get a decent fee we should push him out the door, he is only gonna decline. Put it towards a starting winger next season.

Having said that, that might’ve been his worst performance for us.

Having watched the presser just now, I think he’s back on the bench against Shakhtar and that may be the case against Liverpool too.
There are things that we have discussed in relation to certain topics, what happens today is almost a very unpredictable thing to happen that the winger is going to play the ball to your centre back in the air one touch and there is going to be a challenge there, 35 metres from goal. It’s very difficult to plan for it, but certainly we need to play with 11 against 11 if we want to be in the position we want to be.
