Labour and Your Party

and complied with all relevant legal requirements

What a cunt

Chancellor Rachel Reeves said she “didn’t understand” why the Conservatives were calling for Ms Ali to resign, saying: “I don’t know the details but Rushanara Ali seems to have done everything in accordance with the law.”

What an awful argument. No ethics, no honour. Why is the mentality in this country so broken?

I believe this is the same person who had to resign from the Grenfell response group in shame after it was discovered she attended a conference sponsored by the same cladding firm that made the cladding in Grenfell itself.

She’s clearly a compromised person. Fitting for this government.

It’s really quite impressive how little they’ve learned from what happened to the Democrats in America. Walking, in fact running, along the same path to defeat to right wing extremists. What should have been unthinkable, and they are just making it so easy for them.

You’re spot on. Farage becoming PM is as inevitable as Boris Johnson’s rise to PM.

The difference this time is that the stakes are higher. Farage will shit on the poor, fuck the NHS, raise the retirement age and copy the Trump authoritarian blueprint of picking on the vulnerable (though Labour are doing a pretty good job of that themselves).

Last time I visited my sister, a senior person at a huge bank based in Docklands, she had GB News on. She’s started parroting Farage’s talking points. She’s fallen for it. The masses are being brain-washed and Labour are basically handing Reform their imminent victories in local elections then the General Election.

The Corbyn party has a small small chance if they don’t get in their own way.

Because people don’t actually like Farage that much.

They just hate the others that much more than him.

Focus on trade unionism and workers that includes people. Not on identity bullshit that doesn’t and is a ploy by intelligence services as far as I’m concerned.

Free punch for the Corbyn party :joy:

Being a Labour MP in a London seat is one of the best gigs in polictics, with your party potentially being viable that’s in real danger

They absolutely will get in their own way. The left can’t help it. It’s in their nature.

So Corbyn has to be leader then. Because trusting modern leftists with that is eh.

Yeah it already is. Socially conservatives muslims have very little in common cause with the hard left other than Gaza.

Yeah which is why I’ve never understood the weird love-in the left has with Islam.

When the current crop and the last lot from the last 15 years have been absolutely fucking awful, why Corbyn get shit on so bad with all the hate….the man can literally be no worse than what we’ve had to put up with for a decade and a half. Something needs to fucking change and it absolutely cannot be a further right government.

Problem I foresee is that the younger people are so fucked off with how things are that they won’t even bother voting and you’ll end up with the same old farts who voted for Brexit, voting reform and ruining the future of our country further.

I usually spoil my vote but I’d vote Corbyn over any of the current bastards.

She’s resigned.

On her X she said it’s to ‘avoid further distraction for the government’

In her letter she states she followed ‘all relevant legal requirements’. Probably missing the point again.

Honestly, speaking for myself. I’m ready for another election.

I’ll never understand them clinging on when something like this emerges. It always ends the same way, with a push or a jump before it gets to that.

And still “followed all legal requirements”…as if that was the fucking point.

“Followed all legal requirements” is as much an admission of dubious behaviour as “Followed best practice”. Don’t forget to use both next time the HMRC send you a summons because you left a £3 invoice off of your self-assessment form.

Anyway, she’s gone. Bring out the next spineless twat.

If hmrc send me anything I’ll be telling them to fuck off

I know I feel like the country is safer when hundreds of people including a blind wheelchair user are arrested for holding cardboard signs.

Don’t know what Amnesty International are worried about.

Whether you think PA should be prescribed or not is irrelevant. (I personally don’t think they should)

Don’t try goad the police or ignore the law thinking the law won’t be enforced because you come in numbers. If you have a problem with it, take it up with your local MP.

All this stuff about poor old grannies being arrested is just BS, the line is very clear. If you intentionally cross it that’s on you regardless of your age or profession.

I think the whole point of the protest was to make the police make the arrests, put strain on the system and undermine the ban. I think they were probably successful on the first point, less so on the second. I’m not sure they have generated the outrage they were looking for.

But provoking mass arrests is a classic protest tactic.

They should all get life in prison.
