Labour and Your Party

Stick them straight in the guillotine, especially the blind cripples.

Maybe so but PA represent a tiny extreme subsect of the wider pro palestinian movement, getting arrested on their behalf is ultimately pointless, arguably distracts from the actual issues and worse of all its a self serving act which is standard form for these types of people.

It’s a related but distinct protest to more generally protesting on behalf of Palestine.

If you want to protest the government ridiculously proscribing a protest group as terrorists the best way to do it is to get yourself arrested for supporting them.

For anyone who doesn’t know, the Ulster Volunteer Force is a proscribed terrorist group, and actually rightly so.

Are the TikTok embeds broken? I just see a big white space.

Working for me…try a refresh or reopen the site on a new tab maybe.

Hmmmmm. Cleared the cache, closed all the tabs and restarted the browser.

Still getting this.

That was my only idea unfortunately.

I actually managed to sort it by restarting my phone. Then I found myself face to face with a Kier Starmer video and instantly regretted it.

Not to negate @Calum’s point that Starmer is an utter clown.

It’s as if they’re desperately trying to win the “Worst Government of the 21st Century” award. It’s a tough battle ahead but I think they’ve got what it takes.

At least with Tony Blair he promised “hope”, even if it was bullshit, it gave us all something to cling on to.

Just when you think it couldn’t get worse after years of Tory governance :person_facepalming:

So the UK 30-year bonds just reached a 27-year high.

The £22Bn black hole they cried about is now more like £50Bn.

Inflation is rising.

Taxes have increased - by increasing the taxes that businesses pay, it directly impacts prices consumers pay/reduces net pay (lower future pay rises) because the money has to come from somewhere and as always, it is the workers and consumers who suffer.

UK has the highest energy prices of the developed world. We have an over-inflated government. There is no way that the government can tax Britain to prosperity, instead we should be promoting private sector growth and manufaturing - instead of the fixation on Net Zero (which is a farce when you simply move manufacturing to India/China, et al), the aim should be to reduce energy costs and promote UK manufacturing.

Tories were abysmal, this lot could turn out to be even worse (if that’s possible)

There have been Labour governments that were as bad but this is the first to kick working class people when they’re already down.

Starmer, Reeves, Rayner, etc, are like a group of students who’ve won a prize to run the country without having a clue what they’re doing and aren’t learning from their mistakes.

In a financial world where the middle class is being hollowed-out and the political centre ground is dead, Labour had to pick a side; Pro-wealth, right wing talking points, pick on the vulnerable or Pro-working class, try to heal the divides in society, tax the rich.
They chose the former and consigned themselves to the political dustbin because that’s a space that Reform are more than popular enough to occupy. Labour were chasing 20% of voter and have now lost over 70% of voters’ confidence and handed the popularity race to Reform in doing so.

Idiots, utter fools.

Corbyn v Farage at the next General Election. It’ll divide the country worse than Brexit did. Tories and Labour brought this on themselves.
