Labour and Your Party

Should put a nice split in the Labour vote to get them out of power.

Probably accelerates a Reform government on the downside.

I’d vote for Corbyn in a heartbeat.

My biggest concern with Corbyn though, was his stance on our nuclear weapons. With how the world is at the moment, we need that deterrent.

This trash online safety act going well, bypassable with a VPN.

It’s only for Porn is it not?

I don’t see why it would affect anyone differently unless they are a major porn addict :joy:

No. Porn is just the most easiest to understand. (and justify)

The Act’s duties apply to search services and services that allow users to post content online or to interact with each other. This includes a range of websites, apps and other services, including social media services, consumer file cloud storage and sharing sites, video-sharing platforms, online forums, dating services, and online instant messaging services.

I think they should forget this relationship they have with the trade union movement and cut ties.

They are obviously not for the workers or unions.

They can let billionaires fill the vacuum like they always wanted since this New Labour came to town.

It’s not very clear who they are for. They might be for billionaires in a round about way, but they’re not as in with them as the Tories and they never will be.

I honestly don’t know what Labour is for. And I don’t think they will either. Maybe they’ll figure it out when Reform kick them out of office.

“Make no mistake if people like Jimmy Savile were alive today he would be perpetrating his crimes online - and Nigel Farage is saying he is on their side.”

Kyle refused to back down after Farage’s criticism, saying on social media: “If you want to overturn the Online Safety Act you are on the side of predators. It is as simple as that.”

Sure, hand Reform more free wins why not.

I don’t support the Act and I almost certainly am not on Jimmy Saville’s side.

What a brainless thing to say.

What a stupid thing to say.

I think Farage is a scummy human being but I don’t think he supports peadophiles and neither does anyone else. Absolutely free political capital for him.

The UK will recognise Palestine statehood in September ahead of the United Nations General Assembly, Keir Starmer now says.

“Unless the Israeli government takes substantive steps to end the appalling situation in Gaza, reaches a ceasefire, makes clear there will be no annexation in the West Bank, and commits to a long-term peace process that delivers a Two State Solution,” the UK prime minister goes on.

This cuck can’t even commit to recognising Palestine as a state. Giving Israel a chance to meet some conditions

Starmer’s logic doesn’t make any sense for either side in the conflict

If Palestine should have statehood, then declare now without reservation or third party condition. Using Palestine statehood as a tool to force compliance on Israel is idiotic

It was great to see the Tories defeated and fired to the moon.

But 1 year in, this government seems almost as terrible.

I will enjoy this lot also getting fired to the moon in 2029.

Terrible MPs and all round terrible human beings.

It’s incredibly concerning that all he doesn’t actually support Palestinian statehood but he’s happy to use it as a threat to get Israel to comply.

Such a fucking cunt and so is the rest of his cabinet.

Looking forward to Rayner twisting the knife when they tumble even more.

Lol.

I’d say that intelligence is the only one of those traits or characteristics that I think Starmer has him beat on.

Arsenal involved in political corruption?

Starmer should have listened when he was told not to chase these voters.

These are the same people that backed Boris, and now Farage in record numbers lol

I wouldn’t even say he chased Reform voters. It’s a strange narrative. It implies he really tried when he hasn’t that much. Almost everything he’s done fits in way more with the ‘I don’t know what he stands for’ which has been his M.O even before the election.

I’m sure his stupid focus groups are telling him this is way to lure them back, but he goes about it in such a disingenuous, uncommitted way that’s even more off-putting. That island of strangers of speech was the closest thing to chasing Reform voters then he went back on it (Supposedly he did a interview with The Sun where he flipped again so who knows). Which probably annoyed Reform/Red Wall voters and made them distrust him even more.

It’s like flirting with a girl without confessing. But the girl also finds you off-putting but also has a boyfriend.
