I wonder how much back peddling all the Twitter nerds are doing now that their favourites like Setien are proving themselves to be bums.

They all rode hard on Valverde calling him a bum but all history is showing is that he was aware of Barcelona’s weaknesses and played the best system he could to protect their dominance in the league.

To be honest he never should have stayed after Anfield, not only was that result following on from Roma but everything seemed to drop off for them after that result. Plus the guy didn’t really help himself with some bizarre press conferences.

Main issue seems to be the board and lack of any vision, plus the creativity of the team goes through Messi and no one else, which is crazy considering the quality they had a few seasons ago

Valverde was utter shit , in my view what has happened is that Zidane has improved Real’s defence to the point that Barca who have no system, aging squad and an awful defence can’t afford the kind of mistakes they’re making.

Valverde is a garbage coach who won’t sniff a top job again
