Fuck yes now we can save football like Chelsea and City did against the ESL. Alexa play the Baywatch theme.

Arsenal with oil money(natural gas in Qatars case) would be an unstoppable force.

Maybe PSG could become our second-rate feeder club, kind of like Troyes is to City.

Maybe we’d finally get Draxler then

What does this even mean and who the hell is this guy now? Whoever it is, I don’t see KSE selling. We have to suffer a lot more.

Don’t worry, wait till Arteta and Edu fuck up more assets for the Kroenkes, they will consider selling the team.

Pretty clear at this point that the Kroenkes have no idea that Arteta/Edu have burned a lot of assets for the club (Guen, Saliba, AMN, etc.) and overpaid for others (White, Ramsdale).

Players that could be and should be sold for a good/decent price:
Ozil (and his salary), Guen, Saliba, Torriera, AMN, Bellerin, Elneny, Xhaka, Holding

Money that we wasted on players we should not sign or should be signed at a lower price
Wilian, Mari, Cedric, Xhaka (re-sign), White, Ramsdale.

About 300m??

So far only the Odegaard and Lukongo deals are good deals.
Unfortunately, the bad ones just out numbered the good ones…

The idiot should have sold when the price was high.

I was most interested in Daniel Ek’s efforts because I saw it as the route to having Odegaard and Haaland both at Arsenal, Haaland coming in next summer, maybe also with Sander Berge even though he is more squaddie level rather than a star. Daniel Ek hit a brick wall but this potential Qatari takrover gives me new hope of the possibility of Haaland next summer, boosted by us now having Odegaard on a permanent also.

Regarding the takeover, and principles, it is not our fault. The government, FA, and UEFA did nothing to stop financial doping, FFP has been a sham, and I’m mostly sad for Arsene Wenger that his ingenuity failed to get full rewards due to Abramovich onwards. We have no choice now. If we want consistent Top 4, to be PL title challengers, and CL contenders there is no alternative to joining this “evil” path with club ownership. The Qatari regime are not exactly pure with their motives, but that’s a rabbit hole I won’t go down here.

Fuck that. As much as I envy the success of city and psg; being owned like that without permanent fan representation is bad news. Qatar (their government and influencers) is a piece of shit.

What’s this Qatari stuff ? Whatever it is I hope it’s true, I’m willing to take any change in ownership at the point.

But yeah I know KSE ain’t going anywhere :sob:

I feel so uneasy about the Qatari stuff. Yes, the Kroenkes are awful and supported Trump and are generally pieces of shit…but Qatar? Qatar? It’s a whole different level of shit.

But it’s probably shit that wants to win and brag to their oil buddies that they have a club winning things.

Better than trumpies that don’t know to win.

But they did win! Just ask them.
